Tony Lema Golf Course

Tony Lema Golf Course is a golf facility on the San Francisco Bay shoreline in the Monarch Bay area of San Leandro, Alameda County. The course honors Tony Lema, the professional golfer from Oakland who won the 1964 Open tournament-grade. The bayside location in southern Alameda County places the course in the industrial and residential corridor between Oakland to the north and Fremont to the south, on the flat bay-margin terrain that characterizes the eastern bay shore. The water proximity and bay setting create conditions distinct from the inland Bay Area courses.
