Golf in Cherry Valley

Cherry Valley is a small community in Riverside County north of Beaumont in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, in the pass area between the San Bernardino Valley and the Coachella Valley. The community occupies a broad foothill valley at roughly 2,600 to 3,000 feet elevation, where fruit orchards and some residential development define the landscape. Riverside County's foothill communities north of Beaumont have maintained an agricultural and residential character compared to the more urban communities in the pass below. The community has very limited commercial services and is primarily residential and agricultural, with Beaumont to the south providing most needs. The surrounding terrain consists of lower mountain chaparral and orchard land typical of the San Bernardino Mountain foothills.
