Golf in Quartz Hill

Quartz Hill is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County in the Antelope Valley, west of Lancaster in the high desert. The community occupies flat desert terrain on the western side of the Antelope Valley floor, near the base of the western Tehachapi Mountains. Los Angeles County's Antelope Valley communities, including Quartz Hill, are in the high desert zone within the broader Lancaster-Palmdale metropolitan area. The community has grown as a residential area with a suburban character compared to the denser Lancaster commercial corridor. Lancaster provides most commercial services for Quartz Hill residents. State Route 14 and the main Antelope Valley surface roads provide access. The community has a flat, open desert character consistent with the broader Antelope Valley floor.
