Golf in Barefoot Bay

Barefoot Bay is a large manufactured-home community in southern Brevard County on the Indian River Lagoon, one of the Space Coast's more distinctive residential concentrations. The community occupies a narrow strip of the barrier between the lagoon and the Atlantic near the Sebastian Inlet, in a part of the county where the permanent retirement and seasonal population has sustained a course within the community's footprint. Barefoot Bay Golf Course serves this year-round community in flat coastal terrain where the lagoon ecology and the Atlantic inlet define the natural setting. The Sebastian Inlet State Park to the south and the calm waters of the lagoon to the west frame a residential setting that draws active retirees from across the country.
