Golf in Harker Heights

Harker Heights is a city in Bell County adjacent to Killeen and Fort Cavazos, one of the communities that has grown primarily to serve the military population at the Army's largest installation. The city has a substantial military and veteran population and a residential economy focused on serving the base community, with retail and services along the major corridors. Bell County as a whole has grown significantly with the expanding Fort Cavazos community and the adjacent civilian employment in Killeen, Harker Heights, and Temple. The limestone and cedar terrain of the eastern Edwards Plateau provides the setting for the community at roughly 1,000 feet elevation. One course serves the Harker Heights community in the central Texas terrain.
