Cold Bay Golf Course in Cold Bay occupies one of the most remote golf settings in the United States, situated at the tip of the Alaska Peninsula where the Pacific meets the Bering Sea in one of North America's most consistently windy and climatically demanding environments. Cold Bay developed as a World War II military installation and remains isolated—accessible only by air—with a small year-round population serving the Izembek National Wildlife Refuge that surrounds the community.
