Plain-English privacy

Signing in with Apple, Google, or email gives us your name and email address — nothing more is requested. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever see the relay address. Account data is stored with Supabase, our authentication and database provider. Passwords (for email accounts) are hashed by Supabase; we never see them.

Reviews and photos you post appear publicly on course pages, under the display name you choose. Saved courses and lists are private to your account — nobody else can see them. All of it lives in Supabase, belongs to you, and is permanently removed when you delete your account.

When you allow location access, the distance sorting happens entirely on your device — your coordinates are compared against a bundled course list and are never transmitted to us or stored anywhere. If you type a town or ZIP instead, that typed text (not your location) is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to find the place. Location permission is optional; everything works without it.

The website uses Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to count visits. The iOS app contains no analytics at all — no trackers, no third-party SDKs watching what you do. There are no ads anywhere, and we never sell or share your data for advertising. The site's sign-up forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots; map tiles come from OpenFreeMap/OpenStreetMap, which see standard web requests but nothing about your account.

Open Account → Settings → Delete account — in the app or on the site — and everything goes: your account, sign-in, saved courses, lists, reviews, and photos. Permanently, with no copy kept. Prefer email? Write to sitesbybob@gmail.com from your account address and we'll do it for you.
