Discovery Harbour Golf Course is a golf facility in the Discovery Harbour community on the Kau coast of the Big Island's southern shore, in the remote and sparsely developed Ka'u district that sits between the resort corridor of South Kohala to the north and the active lava zones of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to the northeast. The community was originally developed as a residential project that has grown slowly on the Big Island's least-populated coast, and the golf course serves the residents and visitors who choose the isolation and dramatic landscape of the Ka'u district over the amenity-rich resort areas.
