Winthrop Golf Club

Winthrop is a small Suffolk County peninsula community north of Boston, connected to East Boston by a narrow causeway and surrounded by Boston Harbor on three sides. Winthrop Golf Club runs nine holes on this compressed land base, in one of the more geographically unusual settings for Massachusetts golf — a harbor-surrounded community within sight of Logan Airport. The nine-hole layout makes the most of what very limited space allows.
