Beaverhead Golf Course

Beaverhead Golf Course sits at the south end of the Big Hole Valley in Dillon, where Beaverhead County's ranching heritage is as deeply rooted as anywhere in Montana. The Beaverhead River runs nearby, famous among fly-fishing circles for its trophy brown trout. The course plays through the valley floor, offering wide fairways and long views toward the Beaverhead Mountains. Western Montana State University (now University of Montana Western) gives Dillon a modest collegiate presence that adds some diversity to the town's ranching core.
