Garden Gate Golf Course

Garden Gate Golf Course is in Dunseith, a Rolette County community near the International Peace Garden on the North Dakota-Manitoba border. The International Peace Garden straddles the 49th parallel to celebrate the world's longest undefended border, and Dunseith's proximity to the Canadian border gives the community international character unusual in the Great Plains interior. The Turtle Mountains nearby — a forested plateau rising above the surrounding prairie — provide a natural setting distinct from the open grassland country of most of North Dakota.
