Cedar Beach Golf & Disc Golf Course

Cedar Beach Golf and Disc Golf Course is in Gilgo, Suffolk County, on Jones Beach Island in the Atlantic barrier beach of the south shore. The course serves the barrier-island community in the narrow strip of land between the Great South Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The south-shore barrier beaches of Long Island have a distinctive coastal landscape with a very limited land area, and the golf facility at Cedar Beach occupies one of the few developed areas in this barrier island environment. The course provides recreation for the south shore barrier beach community.
