Friar's Head

Friar's Head is a course in Baiting Hollow, Suffolk County, on the North Fork of Long Island near the Long Island Sound shoreline. The course occupies the high bluff terrain above the Sound in the outer North Fork, serving a membership in the eastern Riverhead section of Suffolk County. The North Fork's Sound-side terrain at this location features elevated glacial bluffs and woodland that characterize the outer North Fork landscape above the water. The eastern Long Island Sound shoreline north of the North Fork wine country corridor provides a coastal setting for this outer Suffolk County facility.
