Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course

Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course is in Canton, St. Lawrence County, in the flat agricultural terrain of the North Country south of the St. Lawrence River. The course serves the Canton community and the St. Lawrence County golf landscape in the county seat of this large northern county. Canton's position in the interior flatlands of St. Lawrence County gives the course a setting in the agricultural lowlands south of the river corridor. The North Country terrain of central St. Lawrence County is characterized by flat to gently varied agricultural land in the former glacial lake plain.
