Winkler County Golf Course

Winkler County Golf Course is in Kermit, Winkler County, in the Permian Basin of far west Texas. Kermit is the county seat of Winkler County, one of the smallest-populated counties in Texas, in the flat Permian Basin at roughly 2,800 feet elevation. The course serves the small Kermit oil-field community in a sparse Permian Basin landscape of mesquite, yucca, and caliche soils.
