RGCC

RGCC is a course in James Town, a small community in the eastern Bighorn Basin of Washakie County. The Bighorn Basin's agricultural landscape — irrigated farmland in the river bottoms, dry sagebrush hills rising to the surrounding mountain ranges — defines the context for this small-town facility. Wyoming's rural golf courses often serve as community gathering points in communities too small to support diverse recreational infrastructure, and James Town's course fills this role for the surrounding ranching communities of the upper Bighorn Valley.
