Golf in Ave Maria

Ave Maria is a planned community in eastern Collier County, on flat agricultural land east of Naples near Ave Maria University. The community occupies land at the inland fringe of Southwest Florida where the expanding Naples metro meets the northern boundary of the Everglades watershed and the Corkscrew Swamp corridor. Panther Run Golf Club serves this residential development, in a part of the county where the planned community model has extended the Naples golf market into the agricultural interior. The course draws from a residential population that has grown around the university campus and the master-planned town center, offering golf access in a setting defined more by the flat interior than by the Gulf Coast resort character of the Naples urban core.
