Golf in Estero

Estero is a community in Lee County in the Southwest Florida corridor between Bonita Springs and Fort Myers, in the I-75 residential zone east of Estero Bay. Six courses serve the community — Old Corkscrew Golf Club, Stoneybrook Golf Club-Estero, Stoneybrook Golf Course, The Club at Grandezza, Villages at Country Creek, and Wildcat Run Golf and Country Club — in a part of the county that has seen substantial residential development along the Corkscrew Road and US-41 corridors. No hole-count data is in public records for several of these facilities. The growth of the Lee County residential market over the past three decades has made Estero one of the more rapidly developed communities in Southwest Florida, with the golf courses embedded in master-planned residential developments.
