Marineland is a very small municipality in Flagler County on the barrier island between Matanzas Inlet and Palm Coast, adjacent to one of the oldest oceanarium facilities in the United States. Three courses serve the Marineland corridor — Conservatory Course, Creek Course, and Ocean Course — in a stretch of coastal Flagler County where the Hammock Dunes resort community has developed a multi-course concentration on the Atlantic barrier. No hole-count data is in public records for any of these three courses. The Flagler County barrier island maintains a relatively low development density compared to the Palm Beach and Broward county coasts, and the Marineland area sits at the quieter northern end of the county's coastal residential zone.
