Golf in North Fort Myers

North Fort Myers is a community in Lee County on the north bank of the Caloosahatchee River, separated from Fort Myers by the river and connected by bridge. Five courses serve the community — Del Tura Golf Club, El Rio Golf Club, Golf Club at Magnolia Landing, Herons Glen Golf and Country Club, and Six Lakes Country Club — in a residential zone that grew as the Fort Myers metro expanded north of the river. No hole-count data is in public records for most of these courses. North Fort Myers has developed a large retirement and year-round residential population in a part of Lee County where the agricultural character of the Caloosahatchee floodplain has given way to residential development along the major highway corridors.
