Golf in Ruskin

Ruskin is a community in Hillsborough County on the eastern shore of Tampa Bay, in the agricultural and residential zone where the Little Manatee River meets the bay. Two courses — Cypress Course and Cypress Creek Golf Club — serve this area in the southern suburban fringe of the Tampa metro. No hole-count data is in public records for either course. Ruskin is part of the fast-growing South Shore corridor of Hillsborough County, where residential development has expanded along US-41 and the Apollo Beach and Wimauma areas as Tampa metro households have moved south to find more accessible housing options.
