Golf in Shalimar

Shalimar is a small community in Okaloosa County on the northern shore of Choctawhatchee Bay, adjacent to Eglin Air Force Base in the Florida Panhandle. Shalimar Pointe Golf Club serves this community in a county where the enormous Eglin reservation dominates the land use and the military-civilian workforce population sustains the local golf market.
