Golf in The Acreage

The Acreage is a large rural residential area in Palm Beach County west of West Palm Beach, in the agricultural and transitional zone at the western edge of the county. Two courses serve the area — Panther National and PGA The Estates — in a part of the county where the lower-density residential character and the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge nearby define an environment different from the coastal resort strip. The Acreage is one of the largest unincorporated rural residential areas in Florida, with large lot sizes and an equestrian and rural character that draws residents seeking more land and space within the Palm Beach County market.
