Golf in Waimanalo

Waimanalo is a windward Oahu community at the base of the Ko'olau mountains on the southeastern coast, where Waimanalo Bay provides one of the longest white sand beaches on the island and the Hawaiian community that has lived here for generations has maintained a distinctly local character compared to the urbanized windward communities further north. Bellows Air Force Station occupies part of the Waimanalo coastline, and Bellows Golf Course serves the military community at a facility that combines golf with the beach recreation area that is one of the most popular military-access beaches in the Pacific. The windward Ko'olau backdrop and the bay setting give Waimanalo a natural beauty that makes it one of the more celebrated communities on the island.
