Golf in Camp Point

Camp Point is the Adams County seat of government in a part of western Illinois where the land lifts into modest bluffs east of the Mississippi River corridor. The community serves the agricultural townships of eastern Adams County, and its golf option at Arrowhead Heights provides recreational golf in terrain with more character than the flat prairie farther east. Quincy, the larger Adams County city on the Mississippi, lies about twenty miles to the west, and Camp Point functions as the county's administrative and service center for the interior townships. The bluff country between Camp Point and the river represents some of the most scenic agricultural landscape in western Illinois.
