Golf in Shiloh

Shiloh is a growing St. Clair County village east of Belleville and Scott AFB, positioned along the Illinois 158 corridor that has attracted significant residential development as the Metro East suburbs have expanded outward. The village takes its biblical name — shared with the famous Tennessee Civil War battle site — from early settler tradition. Shiloh has grown from a small rural community into a substantial suburb, and Tamarack Golf Club sits within the newer residential fabric that defines the village's contemporary identity. The community's eastward position in the county gives it a slightly more rural character than the denser communities closer to the river.
