Golf in Muncie

Muncie is Delaware County's seat and the most famous Midwestern city you may have encountered in a sociology textbook. Robert and Helen Lynd chose Muncie as the subject of Middletown, their landmark 1929 study of American life, and the city has carried that Middletown identity ever since. Today Muncie is a college town anchored by Ball State University, which shapes everything from the local economy to the recreational profile of the community. East-central Indiana's terrain is flat and agricultural at the county's edges, but Muncie itself has enough tree cover, creek drainage, and park infrastructure to make recreational golf a viable year-round pursuit from spring through fall.
