Golf in Cade

St. Martin Parish occupies the heart of Acadiana, where French-speaking Cajun culture took root after the Acadian exile of the 1750s and never fully yielded to Anglo-American patterns. Cade is a small community in the parish's southwestern reaches, notable in golf terms for hosting two courses that represent different ends of the market. Le Triomphe is a private club of some regional distinction; Spanish Trail offers a separate experience in the same parish. The surrounding landscape is classic Acadiana — flat, water-rich, with live oaks draped in Spanish moss marking property lines and fairway corridors. Lafayette is close enough to supply the membership and player base that sustains both facilities.
