Golf in Adams
1 golf course in Adams, Massachusetts.
Adams is a former mill town in northern Berkshire County on the Hoosic River, between North Adams and Cheshire where the valley narrows toward the Berkshire foothills. Forest Park Country Club serves this post-industrial community in the river valley that once supported the textile mills now largely converted or demolished. The northern Berkshire landscape around Adams is more industrial in its heritage than the resort-oriented communities to the south — Lenox, Stockbridge, Great Barrington — and the golf culture here reflects that working character. The Hoosac Range to the east and Mount Greylock's southwestern face to the west frame the town from all sides, giving every outdoor activity in Adams a mountain-framed quality.
