Golf in Buzzards Bay

Buzzards Bay is a village in Bourne at the western end of the Cape Cod Canal, in Plymouth County territory at the very entrance to Cape Cod. Two courses serve the area — Bay Pointe and Falcon Golf Course — in the terrain that straddles the canal zone's mainland-Cape transition. Buzzards Bay village is where the canal infrastructure anchors the community, and the two clubs draw from both the year-round residential population and the seasonal traffic that flows through the area at the start of every summer weekend. The sandy soils and pitch pine of the canal zone give golf here its characteristic upper-Cape character.
