Golf in Fiskdale

Fiskdale is a village in Sturbridge, Worcester County's southern gateway community at the I-84 and I-90 interchange. Hemlock Ridge Golf Course serves this community in the wooded, hilly terrain of southern Worcester County, where the hemlock groves that give the course its name occupy the steep slopes above the lower ground. Sturbridge is known above all as the home of Old Sturbridge Village, the open-air museum that draws visitors from the Boston and Hartford corridors, and golf here serves both the local residential population and the broader tourism-adjacent market. The surrounding terrain of southern Worcester County is more rugged and wooded than the suburban Worcester ring to the north.
