Golf in Granby

Granby is a Hampshire County town in the Pioneer Valley at the foot of the Holyoke Range, between Belchertown and South Hadley in the agricultural eastern tier of the valley. Westover Golf Course serves this rural community in the valley's modest eastern upland, in terrain where the Mount Holyoke College ridge to the west and the Quabbin watershed to the east frame the town's agricultural character. Granby retains a genuinely rural identity in a valley that is otherwise increasingly suburban and academic, and golf here serves a modest residential and farming community without the college-town energy of its immediate neighbors.
