Golf in Peabody

Peabody is a North Shore city in Essex County just north of Salem, with a commercial character shaped by the Route 128 and Route 1 corridors. Two courses serve the area — Meadow at Peabody Golf Course and Salem Country Club — drawing from the broad population of the Salem-Peabody metro area. The terrain here is the mixed-use suburban fringe typical of Essex County's Route 128 ring, where the commercial development along Route 1 and the residential neighborhoods of the inner North Shore coexist in a densely developed suburban city.
