Golf in Rochester

Rochester is a Plymouth County SouthCoast town in the upper Sippican and Mattapoisett river valleys, a largely rural community between Mattapoisett and Middleborough where the cranberry bogs and the wooded upland define the landscape. Country Club of New England at Rochester and Plumb Corner Golf serve this community in the flat to moderate terrain of the Plymouth County interior, in a town where the cranberry operations, the rural character, and the Route 28 corridor give golf a quiet, rural-roads setting in one of the more genuinely agricultural communities in southeastern Massachusetts.
