Golf in Tupelo

Tupelo is the Lee County seat and largest city in northeast Mississippi, a community proud of its birthplace of Elvis Presley and its successful economic transformation from cotton agriculture to diverse manufacturing. Toyota's first Mississippi assembly plant chose the Tupelo area, and the city's furniture manufacturing cluster is significant nationally. The Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum draws fans from around the world, and the Natchez Trace Parkway's northern terminus near Tupelo provides scenic recreational infrastructure. The Tupelo National Battlefield preserves the Civil War engagement fought in Tupelo's streets in July 1864.
