Golf in West Glacier

1 golf course in West Glacier, Montana.

West Glacier is the western gateway to Glacier National Park, a Flathead County community that exists almost entirely in service of the park's two to three million annual visitors. Glacier Rim Golf Course occupies the approach to the park's west entrance, where the Flathead River canyon and the park's mountain borders create an environment of immediate, unmediated wilderness. A round here comes with the particular awareness of playing adjacent to something genuinely enormous — Going-to-the-Sun Road begins just past the first tee, and the park's interior terrain is visible from the course's higher ground. The combination of national park adjacency and playable golf is difficult to find anywhere else in the country.
