Golf in Hickory

Hickory is the principal city of Catawba County, in the NC Piedmont foothills along the U.S. 70 and I-40 corridors between Statesville and Morganton. The city is the center of the Hickory metropolitan area, which spans Catawba, Burke, Alexander, and Caldwell counties, in the western Piedmont foothills at the base of the Blue Ridge. Hickory has a significant furniture manufacturing heritage alongside Lenoir and Morganton in the furniture production corridor of western NC, and the city is home to Lenoir-Rhyne University.
