Golf in Lake Junaluska

Lake Junaluska is an unincorporated community in Haywood County, in the NC mountains west of Asheville. The community is home to the Lake Junaluska Assembly, a United Methodist conference center on the shores of a reservoir of the same name, which has served as a religious retreat and conference destination since the early twentieth century. Haywood County is in the upper French Broad River watershed, with Waynesville as the county seat, in the mountain terrain between Buncombe County and the Great Smoky Mountains.
