Golf in Wilmington

Wilmington is the county seat of New Hanover County and the largest city on the NC coast, at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. The city is a major port, home to the Port of Wilmington, and has a well-preserved historic downtown with significant architecture from the nineteenth century, including the Bellamy Mansion and Wilmington Railroad Museum. The Cape Fear Museum, a film and television production hub, and the University of North Carolina Wilmington give the city educational and cultural depth. Wilmington's three golf facilities — Cape Fear Country Club, Eagle Pointe, and Pine Valley — serve a city that has grown significantly as both a coastal destination and a retirement and residential center in the Cape Fear region.
