Golf in Canton

Canton is the Stark County seat and one of northeastern Ohio's most historically significant cities, best known as the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the birthplace of President William McKinley. The city's manufacturing heritage—Timken steel and many other industrial firms defined Canton's economy—created the working-class culture that built the city's institutions and sustained its communities through the industrial era and the difficult transitions that followed. Stark County's golf culture is among the richest in Ohio, with a diverse range of public and private facilities serving the entire metropolitan area.
