Golf in Gladstone

Gladstone is a Clackamas County city at the confluence of the Clackamas and Willamette rivers, where two of Oregon's significant inland waterways meet south of Portland. The confluence geography shapes the community's character — low-lying in places, with the river providing both scenic backdrop and occasional flooding in high-water years. Gladstone has maintained its status as a distinct city despite being surrounded by the larger communities of Oregon City, Milwaukie, and Lake Oswego. The Clackamas River here is still recognizable as a salmon river, and the surrounding landscape carries the riparian character of both waterways. The river-corridor setting gives Gladstone's recreational landscape a waterway character shared by few Metro communities, and the transition from urban to more rural terrain just east of the city adds variety to the golf and outdoor options available to residents.
