Gilbertsville sits in the southwestern corner of Montgomery County near the Berks County line, in the Perkiomen Creek watershed south of Boyertown. This is older Montgomery County — not the inner Main Line, not the Route 202 technology corridor, but the agricultural and small-industrial landscape that preceded the county's suburban transformation.
