Golf in Westerly

Westerly is the southwesternmost community in Rhode Island, a town that straddles the Pawcatuck River at the Connecticut border. The town encompasses the famous Watch Hill resort community, Misquamicut State Beach, and the working downtown of Westerly proper. Misquamicut is one of the most popular beaches on the New England coast, drawing enormous summer crowds from across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York. Westerly's granite quarrying history is reflected in the Romanesque architecture of its downtown buildings, many constructed with local pink granite.
