Golf in Forest Hills

1 golf course in Forest Hills, Tennessee.

Forest Hills is a small, affluent Davidson County municipality in the southwestern Nashville suburbs, nestled in the wooded ridges between Belle Meade and Brentwood. The community is notable for being one of the very few separately incorporated cities within Davidson County following the 1963 Metro Nashville-Davidson County consolidation, which absorbed most of the county's municipalities but allowed a handful of wealthy enclaves to retain independent status. The terrain here — forested limestone ridges with mature hardwood canopy — gives Forest Hills a more naturalistic setting than many Nashville neighborhoods, and the community has maintained low density through strict zoning. Golf in this part of Davidson County benefits from proximity to both the established private clubs of Belle Meade and the newer upscale developments that have extended along the Brentwood corridor.
