Golf in Hurley

Hurley is a small city in Iron County, set at the far northern edge of Wisconsin right on the Michigan border in the iron-mining country near Lake Superior. Once a rough-and-tumble mining and timber boomtown, Hurley sits amid the heavily forested hills of the far north, with the Penokee Range and some of the deepest snowfall in the Midwest drawing skiers and snowmobilers. The Montreal River forms the border with Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and the surrounding landscape is dense with timber, waterfalls, and the rugged terrain of the iron country.
