Arrowhead Golf Course

Arrowhead Golf Course sits in Alturas, the county seat and only incorporated city in Modoc County in the remote far northeastern corner of California. Alturas occupies the Pit River Valley in a high desert basin at roughly 4,400 feet of elevation, surrounded by the Warner Mountains to the east, the Cascade foothills to the west, and the open range country of the Modoc Plateau to the north. Modoc County is one of the least populated counties in California, and Alturas is the sole commercial hub for this vast and sparsely populated corner of the state.
