Birch Hills Golf Course

Birch Hills Golf Course is in Brea, a northeastern Orange County city at the base of the Puente Hills. Carbon Canyon Regional Park lies just to the north where the hills transition to Chino Hills State Park beyond. Highway 57 (the Orange Freeway) runs through Brea providing north-south access, and the 91 freeway connects Brea to Fullerton and Anaheim to the south. The city developed around oil production in the early 20th century and transitioned to a retail and residential base through the postwar decades.
