La Jolla Country Club

La Jolla Country Club sits on the mesa terrain of La Jolla, the affluent coastal neighborhood of San Diego that occupies the promontory north of Pacific Beach. La Jolla is known for its ocean-adjacent bluffs, the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve to the north, the Birch Aquarium, and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography on the cliffside above the Pacific. The country club occupies the interior mesa terrain of La Jolla, inland from the ocean-adjacent, in an area of large residential lots and mature institutional campus grounds.
