Rooster Run Golf Club

Rooster Run Golf Club sits in Petaluma, a city in southern Sonoma County along the Petaluma River, which flows south through the Petaluma Gap into San Pablo Bay. Petaluma is positioned in the low corridor between the Sonoma Mountains to the east and the Sonoma Coast ridgeline to the west, in the gap in the Coast Range through which prevailing marine air from the Pacific flows into the Bay Area. The city has a downtown core along the Petaluma River water's-edge and is known for its role in the California poultry and egg industry in the earlier twentieth century.
