Rip Van Winkle Country Club

Rip Van Winkle Country Club is in Palenville, Greene County, at the base of the Kaaterskill Clove in the eastern Catskill Mountains. The club serves the Palenville community and the eastern Greene County Catskill golf market in the foothill terrain at the base of the mountain gorge. The Kaaterskill Clove above Palenville is one of the most dramatic landscapes in the Catskills, with the creek descending from the high plateau. The club occupies a property in the Palenville terrain at the base of the Catskill escarpment.
